Paper Clips

Effect:

Several loose paper clips suddenly become a chain of connected paper clips.

Preparation:

You will need 50 paper clips and a paper clip box. Count out 25 loose clips into a plie. Count out another 25 clips and link them together. Mark the extreme ends of the chain so they will be easier to spot in the box.

Glue a cardboard divider into the bottom of the box so that you have two compartments. Put the loose paper clips in one side and the linked paper clips in the other.

Presentation:

Cover the linked paper clips with you hand as you dump the loose paper clips on the table. Put the loose paper clips back in the box. Sprinkle some magic dust over the paper clips thin pull out the link of paper clips as your hand covers the loose paper clips.
